Update

So I couldn't think of an appropriate title so this is what you get, because I feel like all blogs need a tittle. I wish I was more like my sister Kate in that way because her titles are always super cute and you know exactly what you are in for.
So last week Thursday (or Friday) when I was giving David a bath he seemed to finally figure out he's got feet! It was the real first time I saw him ever really grabbing at them. It was pretty cute.
We bought a blow up pool this past weekend. We took our first family dip on Sunday. It was pretty nice. We took a video of David and I don't have the time to do it now since it's late, but when I get to it I hope it turned out.
We bought David a high chair today! I was getting sick of always having him in my lap while eating dinner. He sat in it today while we ate dinner and he played really nicely by himself. I think he just didn't like being on the floor looking up at us and now he's part of dinner without the food. :)
Joe sold his motorcycle to a friend this past weekend. It's sad a nice to see it go all at the same time. I know Joe would have loved to fixed it up, but we kind of lack funds and are desperately trying to get out of debt. I kind of like not having a reminder in my garage of all the bad stuff that happened early last year. So now we have a little more money to put towards debt and hopefully pay off another credit card. :)

Does anyone do blogger mobile and can you please help me! I can post words, but for some reason I can't post pictures and that's the only reason I wanted it! So if anyone has some helpful tips that would be lovely. :)

Saturday

So this last Saturday I went to the Oklahoma Home Front Baby Shower. It was a military based program for women who have had babies in the last year or were pregnant now. It was so much fun! We got lots of free stuff, prizes, food, and lots of good information. It was a little sad that babies were not allowed, so I had to leave David home with Daddy. But a day on my own is pretty refreshing.
The down side of Saturday David refused to eat for about 7 hours! He would not take his bottle at all so I'm guessing him and Daddy didn't have a very good day at all. So now I'm wondering how on earth Joe and I will ever have a date night in the next couple of months if we can't get David to take a bottle. I guess when he's more on solids we could, but I'm just worried that something will happen where I won't be able to be with David all the time. For instance a friend of mine back home had gall stones and had to be in the hospital for a week. So I hope that it never does happen. Yikes!
So I know I'm late in the game for bottle training, but how can I go about doing it? We've tried 3 different kinds of bottles/nipples. We both tried feeding him and nothing worked. We did try that Breastfeeding bottle that's supposed to be the closes thing to the real thing and nothing. Sigh! I'm thinking part of the reason we are having such a hard time is because David always seemed to hate pacifiers so it's kind of like the same boat.

19 weeks of Fun!

Was looking at some photos on our video camera and I found this one. This was David while Joe's family was in town. Don't they look so cute!
So you see that purple like mark on my cheek? Well that's a hickey from David! For some reason it seems like the more he teeths the more he wants to suck on my face. So I might have him stomach to stomach so I can burp him and he turns his face and all I can see are his two little eyes because he's so close to me. It's actually a really funny sight. But now I have two hickeys. This one above was from today.
This one is two days old and the photo was taken also today.

So for some reason I keep having issues with trying to do more than one video in a blog, so I just have to do it one at a time. :( Unless I don't use youtube. Sigh! So David is 19 pounds 13 ounces as of Friday! Cripes what a big man!

David 19 weeks Old in Bouncy Seat

My little buddy

This was Davids second time in his stroller. He looks so happy!
Doing some tummy time.
Just thought he looked to cute!
Supporting Wisconsin, one cow at a time.
Chilling in the bath tub.
I love this picture!
Fell asleep during a mommy and him walk.
"Little Monster"
So I kept noticing David's bumper pad kept getting loose on the one side and I could not for the life of me figure out why. Even with tightening it it didn't seem to make a difference. So one night while checking on David I saw this. I know it's fuzzy, didn't want to wake him with a flash.
David's new hat. :)

David Jumping Swing 17 weeks

David's not really jump yet, but he sure likes just spinning around in this thing.

David Tummy Time 18 weeks

David's been making that throaty noise since Monday morning when he decided to do that instead of letting me feed him. Needless to say mommy wasn't very happy since I wanted him to eat and then sleep. But it's pretty cute.

My first Mother's Day

Flowers from Joe. :)
Mommy got a blender. :)

So my first mother's day we went to church and just had a very relaxed day. Joe and I did a little napping and just spent time together as a family. The day after we did some shopping for all of us and we went out to eat at Olive Gardens. It was a great celebration for me. :)

David Rolling Over 18 weeks Old

David's First Easter all Dressed up

Ok the scary looking bunny is the Bunny at Church. This was taken on Good Friday.
This was taken the weekend before Easter at Joe's work party.

This was David Easter Morning. He got his makeup on his clothes. Oh well. :)

Doing new things!

So David has been rolling onto his side since around 3 and a half months.
And he can scoot backwards, but doesn't do it that often.
And this one is just showing off his cuteness!

Things Husbands Say

So Joe and I went out to the mall and Old Navy yesterday. Mall wondering and such is something we enjoy doing. We don't usually spend much money if any, but yesterday was the exception. So anyways we went to Old Navy and Joe got a nice button down blue and white stripped shirt and kakki shorts. Well he decided to change into his new clothes before we went to Olive Garden for dinner. It was a late Mother's Day dinner out for me. :) So Joe was looking super nice and I had sweat carpi shorts on and an over sized men's shirt. I said something along the lines about how crappy I looked compared to him and he says, "It's ok your a mom." Wow thanks Hunny!

David's 4 Month Appointment

David's first Easter
Joe's Easter work party.

I know David's eyes look funny, but a cute photo. He was almost 3 months in this photo.
David having a hard time eating his toy.
David's New hat. It's way to big on him though.

So yesterday was David's 4 month check up! He's getting so big. He's already 18lbs 12oz and 28 ad a half inches long! He fits comfortable in most 6 to 9 month clothes, but some of his pants are still 0 to 3 months because he's actually quite skinny. He's getting super cute. He does this little chuckle for over a month now, but still doesn't have a real laugh. He loves being lifted up in the air and being talked to. He loves talking back and giving big smiles. I just love him to pieces! He's been working on teething since the beginning of last month. Lots of wet chins, shirts, and cheeks. He loves being held and is getting pretty good at grabbing things and bringing them to his mouth. He loves his toy octopus and just will sit there and eat it for awhile. Which is pretty nice when I am just trying to get a couple quick things to get done.

David's finally getting pretty good at getting his toy in his mouth, but at first he spent more time licking the toy than actually getting it into his mouth. But that's pretty much a different video.
