So I was thinking about going through month by month of last year and give a small summery of it. It's funny because a friend of mine beat me to it and I felt like I was going to be early on this one. :)
January - Joe got his motorcycle stolen from outside our apartment. We also had a huge amount of snow and it was cold! My parents dog that they had since I was 12 passed away. I got to see my cousin Nick and his family the first time in about 6 years.
February - I lost my pregnancy at 12 weeks and had to have major surgery that went along with it. Joe got his motorcycle back after it was in a high speed chase. Joe and I got to see the comedian Gabriel Iglasius. We had an end to our 3 worst Tuesdays of our lives.
March - I turned 23! We went out to our fanciest dinner with just us two to celebrate it. He also took me to a go kart racing place that was super fun! I might insist we go there again this year. :) I started counseling for grief. It was either the end of this month or beginning of the next where I started to help my friend Amy plant a garden of flowers and various plants that all died due to to much heat and bad soil.
April - Joe turned 24 and we went out to a family fun center to celebrate it. My sister Kate had her beautiful twin girls the day after. We went to Utah the end of the month to see the girl's baby blessings and to spend time with my family and amazing friend Alexis. We also got to see one of the missionaries (and his wife) that helped teach Joe the new member discussions.
May - We returned from our trip from Utah. I stopped counseling since I was feeling better. Joe started to work 12 hour night shifts where he was there from 5pm to 6am. This is also the time I found out I was pregnant again. Actually found that out while in Utah. Joe's aunt died the end of this month and we were able to go home to her funeral.
June - We had the fire to our apartment building.
July - I was in the car accident with my friend Becca. The worst part about it was I had just announced my pregnancy not much before this. I think I was only 15 weeks at the time of the accident. I started to feel my first flutters this month. My friend Andrea had us go out to her mom's house to light off fire works since you can't light them off in the city.
August - Went to the Oklahoma City Zoo for the first time with my friend Angela and her two daughters. It was probably in the 90's that day! It was so hot! We found out we were having a baby boy. I went to Colorado Springs with my friend Meagan so she could look at places to live and the local college campus. It was fun to have a girl trip for 4 days. My due date for Little Mac happened this month. I was a DD for my friend Becca when she got her tooth pulled. It was super funny and fun. She was pretty loopy and the morning of that is when I found out about the baby and she insisted that she had to buy me my first boy outfit, even though she wasn't all with it that day. :) We were offered a place on base but turned it down due to size.
Also it was in the 100's or above pretty much the whole month!
September - Joe and I went to the Oklahoma City Museum together. My water heater had it's whole smoking incident where the fire department had to come. I got another ultra sound and found out our baby was still a boy. We decided on the name of David for the baby. We also bought our Eddie Bauer Travel System this month. My friend Meagan and her husband Sam moved to Colorado Springs. That was hard and still is! I miss you Meagan!
October - So we went to Wisconsin for some family time and so my friend Katie and Chia could throw me a baby shower. I had my glucose test which was normal. We got our maternity/family photos taken while in Wisconsin. The end of this month is when we moved out to Moore from Midwest City to live with Joe's co-worker Jeff and his two dogs. My favorite uncle died this month from cancer.
November - Joe and I hit our 7 year dating anniversary and our 3 year married Anniversary. My friend Meagan drove back from Colorado Springs to throw me a baby shower!!! My friend Angela had us over for Thanksgiving. Joe and I got some good black Friday deals. We started going to the Moore ward even though at first I wanted to stay in Midwest City.
December - Joe got a root canal done and also had a major cold. Poor guy! Our records were transferred to our new ward and had the missionaries stop by to meet us. We had all the carpet removed, except for one bedroom and the closets and had to restart the whole organizing process from scratch. We also started a huge buying spree to get the last minute baby stuff we needed and to get ready for the baby. My friend Angela had my friend Becca and I over for Christmas (since Joe wasn't feeling well).
Overall this year had some majorly sucky things happen and some really good stuff happen. I just pray for a better beginning to next year and pray it's not at all like this years beginning.

39 Weeks.and Christmas
So my camera battery died so photos will just have to be posted later. So any who I had my appointment today and it went well. I am still doing good and my blood pressure is doing better also which is good. So I'm still only dilated to a 2. Nothing really has changed. I had some contractions yesterday (more like just being crazy crappy from 2am till like 10 or 11am), but then it went away. So I'm pretty sure I'm still in this till next week. I am still on schedule for being induced on the 5th which is crazy because that's a week from tomorrow!!! So we are all set to go for a baby when ever he comes. My bags are packed (which I have a quick question about did you pack anything in the bags for daddy? Joe doesn't seem to think I should put his stuff in there but I think I should), our room is ready and all we have to do is to put the car seat in the car and we're golden. So I'm just getting excited. All we really need yet is still a crib but we are still trying to figure that all out. Joe has a co-worker who would even just give us their old crib, but I really really want to by a new one though I understand money and all that, but man how long will our kid be in this crib for who knows maybe until he moves out (since we want to get a convertible crib). So we are trying to just trying to work all that out.
So Christmas was pretty quiet for the most part. Joe was pretty sick with a head cold and I let him sleep in a couple hours after me getting up. I made pull apart bread for our breakfast. So we ate that and opened gifts. Joe gave me a pretty charm bracelet with 3 charms. One saying the word Mother, another one had a baby foot print, and the last one had a stone that looked like the birth stone garnet (which is January's birth stone). He also got me one of those baby birth stone necklaces that the charm has bead arms and legs and a birth stone belly, also in garnet. I got Joe a table top fuse ball table (it's a mini thing), I got him a pj set because I thought it would be nice for him to have some nice lounge clothes for when the baby comes. and a ginger bread shirt that says "Oh Snap" since the gingerbread's leg is broken.
Our friend Becca came over and we hung out for a little bit and then her and I headed to our friend Angela for Christmas dinner. Joe stayed home since he wasn't feeling up for going out. So it was just us girls going. At Angela's house she had her husband and their 2 girls and also her friend Michelle with her husband and their 2 boys. So it was a nice little meal and then we headed home. I brought Joe a plate of food for Joe and Becca headed home. Oh my gosh I completely forgot that we got Becca a package of Elf Cookies (she loves those thing) since I figured she could use the pick me up since her husband is deployed right now.
The rest of mine and Joe's Christmas was really relaxed. We just enjoyed being here together and alone. So we had a good Christmas, just wish Joe had felt better that day. But imagine next year will be extra special for us since David will be here.

38 weeks!
Also this syatic nerve thing is driving me crazy! It's funny about 3 weeks ago my sister asked me about it and then the next day is when the pain kicked in. Thanks a lot Kate! :) But yeah it hurts almost every day if not all day. The longer I go the more I hurt! :( But it'll all be worth it in the end.

37 week Appointment
I do not have a photo to put up right now since when it came time to find the camera today it was stashed away so that the carpet could be done. So I found it after Joe went to work. :( So I guess that will just have to wait till tomorrow or tonight depending on how late Joe works and how late I feel ok staying up till.
So any who! My appointment didn't go as well as I would have liked it. I gained about 6 pounds in a week some how and am now tipping the scale at 239! Yeah I feel a little weird posting my weight here by my journal is MIA once again with all the moving around stuff! Anyways! So with that and my blood pressure being a little high I'm now being tested for preeclampsia. I got my blood drawn as my appointment and have to do a 24 hour urine collection (which I'm not looking forward to at all) which I will probably do tomorrow just to get it over with. My doctor told me to make sure if I get blurred vision or really bad headaches that don't go away with over the counter drugs to give her a call. So now I'm a little worried, but to be honest if I got induced next week it wouldn't be the end of the world since I'll be 38 weeks. So I guess the only thing I'm afraid of is being induced in general! But on the bright side I'm already 1 cm dilated, but still long. So we'll see what happens.

Just another Manic Tuesday!
So tomorrow the carpet if being replace in the house. Out of a 3 bedrooms only one is not getting new carpet. Neither are the closets. So we get the joy of moving stuff off the carpet and either shoving it in our roommate's bedroom, in closets, in the kitchen, or in the garage. So far Joe and I have made some pretty good progress. The only problem is that I can't lift much weight and our roommate is working mornings so we really couldn't all work together on this. So I guess Jeff is going to have some guys over from work to actually remove the carpet tonight since Joe will be at work by the time Jeff gets home. I'm not sure what I'll be doing tonight, probably just starring at them because I have no idea what to do when it comes to removing carpet. Also I feel pooped from what I moved last night by myself and what I have done so far today that I might just crash in a quiet corner that doesn't have any carpet on it. :) Hope tomorrow goes quick since Joe has to be at work and I have a doctor's appointment to be at. I know the carpet will look nice though, so I'm not really complaining all that much, just don't like the idea of resetting up "home" after we just did it like 2 months ago. :(

Just A Thing I'm Mad at. :(
So last night (well actually lately I've been trying to get my baby clothes ready because that is something that will sit in the closet and not be moving around when the carpet gets torn out. Anyways! Last night I was going through some garbages bags of clothes that I recieved from people in Wisconsin from my shower and Joe's family. I found out there was a wet spot in the bag! So it's been sitting in the garage for over a month wet! So I felt like I had to throw out some stuff. There was running of colors and dark mold that stained my stuff. :( In all reality the amount of ruined clothes aren't that bad. I'm just mad that some of this stuff had tags on it when I pulled it out of the bag! So at least it was only one bag that had gotten wet.
Word to the wise. If you put your stuff on top of your car and it's raining check your stuff to make sure it's all ok. Lesson learned!

What would you choose?
So I have 2 20% off coupons that I need to use this weekend. So I'm wondering what I should use them on. Should I use them on a pack and play (where the baby will be sleeping at least a couple of months) and a crib? A pack and play and a changing table? Or just pay full price for the pack and play and just get a crib and mattress? I'm leaning towards one of the first two choices, but can't decide which one to choose!

I feel indirect pressure to do this. :)

So I have now had two friends post this and I feel like I should do the same. :)
+What are your middle names? Brittany Marie and Joseph David
+How long have you been together? Just a little over 7 years! We were high school sweet hearts. :)
+ How long did you know each other before you started dating? Not very long. Maybe a couple weeks. We kept seeing each other because he hung out with my older brother, but we never did much talking till our first day.
+Who asked who out? Joe asked me out (still on our first date) while we were watching cartoons on tv on my parents couch. :)
+How old are each of you? Joe is older. He turns 25 in April and I turn 24 in March.
+Whose siblings do/ did you see the most? Well when we are in town we see all of his siblings and 2 of mine (because there are only 2 left in state).
+Do you have any children together? Not yet. We got a baby that is well over half way done. :) He's due Jan. 4th!
+What about pets? We are currently living with two dogs. Ones a black lab mix named Princess and a cockier spaniel mix named Hawk. But they are our roommates dogs.
+Which situation is the hardest on you as a couple? There's been a lot of times. I would say being apart for him for 9 months while he trained, moving away from all family and the loss of our first child through miscarriage.
+Did you go to the same school? Yep we went to Fond du Lac High School together, but weren't in the same grade so we didn't have any classes together.
+Are you from the same home town? Yes and No. We were both Born in Fond du Lac, but Joe moved around quite a bit when he was younger and I never moved till I left for Oklahoma.

+Who is the smartest? It depends. We both have our strong pains, but I do have some really
dumb moments. :)
+Who is the most sensitive? That would be me by like a million! Pregnancy hormones don't help that with one bit.
+Where do you eat out most as a couple? I would probably say Applebees just because that was one of the nicer places to eat back home.
+Who has the craziest exes? Neither of us do. I only dated one other guy before Joe and I think he was just a little jealous that I clicked so well and so fast with Joe. And as far as Joe he doesn't talk about his exes at all. Well except one and she's a little weird, but not crazy.
+Who has the worst temper? Hmm that's kind of hard to say. I would say no one has it worse. I have a quick trigger, and that's what set Joe's anger off.
+Who does the cooking? That would be me. I think the only think Joe has really cooked is Mac and cheese.
+Who is more social? I'm not sure. I like to hang out with people more, but have a hard time meeting new people. Joe meets lots of people at work, but never really hangs out with them, but he plays games online with them.
+Who is the neat-freak? I would say Joe. I can let stuff side longer, but I do have a breaking point of where I just clean and clean and clean, but not so much right now because of being pregnant.
+Who is the most stubborn? Oh that would be me hands down! I hate backing down, but Joe will just do stuff sometime without really talking to me about it which makes me mad.
+Who hogs the bed? Joe does! I have woken up many of times of on the edge of the bed and without blankets.
+Who wakes up earlier?Joe does, I feel like I should get as much of it as I can right now.
+Where was your first date? We went to Fazolies and saw the Movie Brother Bear. We also played pool at his parents house and watched tv at my parents house.
+Who has the bigger family? That would be me hands down! Joe has 3 older brothers 2 nephews and 3 nieces. I have one older sister, 6 older brothers, and one younger sister. I also have 7 nephews and 12 nieces.
+Do you get flowers often? Not as often and I used to, but that's alright.
+How do you spend the holidays? Usually with both families but being out here we have spent
both Thanksgivings with friends and will probably invite someone over for Christmas like last year.
+Who is more jealous? I would say me, but I don't think I'm that bad.
+How long did it take to get serious? Like a month and and a half.
+Who eats more? Joe
+Who does/ did the laundry? I do! But Joe will help from time to time.
+Who’s better with the computer? Joe. Whenever we go home his mom and my mom make him work on theirs. I feel so bad for him every time!
+Who drives when you are together? Joe does. Just because.
Roughly 6 weeks left!
So we wanted to wait till Black Friday to see what kind of baby stuff went on sale. We did get myself a glider for $150 which I'm way excited about and a diaper bag and some diapers all for a great price! But the problem is that we still don't have a crib, pack and play, dresser, changing table, or a diaper pale. :S I'm starting to get nervous about all this because I keep having this fear of going into labor early and not having anything for the baby to sleep in. At least we got our car seat. I know I'm complaing, but I'm just trying to get organized and I lack the material to really do it. I got an organization cart for baby stuff so I filled that tonight, but I don't have any where to put my babies clothes! I just don't know what to do anymore. We keep waiting for stuff to go on sale or those coupons that will get us 20% off everything on our registry. So I just hope it goes well and we get it all. Fingers crossed!

Time to Give Thanks
So this year I am so Thanksful for good friends! My friend Angela invited us over for a Thanksgiving meal. I made my first turkey and it was actually really good! She had so much food it was crazy, but it's nice to have people like that when your away from family.
I'm thankful for my loving Husband and all that he does for me and the baby. I'm thankful for his military service and the things they provide for us. I'm thankful for how much he puts up with and still has a smile on his face most of the time.
I'm thankful for my Family! Though it's hard to be away from them and not near any of them. I wish I talked to them more, but communication is a two way street (hint, hint).
I am thankful for the values that I hold so dear to my heart and can't wait to start teaching them to David.
I'm Thankful for David! Though he made it so I couldn't eat to much goodness today but I'm getting so excited to meet him.
I'm thankful for my Father in Heaven and all the blessings that he has given me and all the blessings that I have been given in the last year!
I'm not thankful for Oklahoma, but I am thankful for the experiences I have had since I have gotten here.

Fond du Lac Baby Shower
Ok I know this is long over due! My shower was on the 16th of October. My friends Chia and Katie hosted it and it was a great turn out. I had quite a few people from High School come and it was so nice to see them! I cannot believe how many clothes that we got from the shower! Then Joe's brother and his wife gave us a swing and more clothes later on in our trip! We had such a full car on the way home it was ridiculous!
34 weeks!
So we decided we are going out black Friday to do some baby shopping. Those coupons I have aren't any better than the ones I get from the store for having them still on the registry. So I figured if I don't get a good deal now, I will just have to wait for those things to kick in. I just hope there will be some cool stuff on sale on black Friday. It's sad that Babies R Us doesn't actually do it's own ad, so we'll start at Toys R Us and work our way from there. I'm excited because all their gliders are going to be 50% off and that's one thing I've been really wanting to have! Though I have no idea where we'll be putting it. Haha!

Baby Shower
So this past Friday I had a second baby shower. My awesome friend Meagan drove back from Colorado Springs (she's the one I made the trip out there with) to put the shower on with me. She was going to initally come out for a week but since her husband's grandmother is in bad health he wanted to come but only could get a couple days off, so they were on here Thursday to Sunday. I had a lot of fun at the shower and it was fun! Plus having a fun day with a friend was so fun!
I'll have to go through my photos and have to post some, but I haven't done anything with them yet. Cripes I never posted photos from my other shower. I guess I'll have to get some photos on here. :)

Stretch Marks
So I'm glad that my pregnancy is nearing to an end because I can't take much more of my skin being stretched and all these ugly marks! That is probably my least favorite thing that is going on with the pregnancy. It doesn't matter how much lotion I put on or vitamin E that I rub in! It doesn't seem to make a big difference. I was happy that my stomach was almost perfect till just recently (I found the marks today), though it's in a spot that's kind of under my belly so I can't really see it unless if I left my belly. Haha! Oh well. I can't believe my due date is coming up in 7 weeks! I'll just be happy to hold, smell, and kiss my baby boy! Though I know I will miss his little movements, hiccups and when he slides around against my skin. Even though I don't really like how it feels when he slides his legs/arms against my insides because it's so weird!

7 years
So Sunday was mine and Joe's 7 years anniversary of being together. :) It's hard to believe that looking back to when I was 16 that this was going to be I got married to! I can't believe how much our love has changed over the years and how it's gotten better. I can't believe in roughly 7 weeks we'll be having our first child together. :) Man! I love him and am so happy at how we have bettered each other over the years. :)

32 weeks!
So today was my 32 week appointment! It went really well. Baby and I are growing right on scedual which was a concern of mine (me growing a little to much), but my doctor told me I'm good. I'm getting excited at the idea of buying my big stuff soon! I can't believe it's coming so soon that I will finally get to meet my son!
So I have these coupons for Babies R Us one is 20% off any baby item which is what I would use for the crib. I have another one that is $10 off for ever $50 you spend, so I would get $20 off on that. But there is the option of holding off till Black Friday to see if we get another deal. Granted I have till the 24th to make a choice because that's when my coupons are good till. So what do you guys think I should do? Has anyone heard if Babies R us does a good black Friday Deal?
So unpacking is going pretty well. I guess it stinks to pretty much the only one doing it. :( Joe's been working 12 hour shifts and then on the weekend we both just want to relax and get out of the house! So we'll see how soon we can get this done! Plus it's weird putting some stuff around another person's things without them being here to see if they mind how you are doing it! So it kind of stinks! Our roommate should be home sometime this week.

Movement
So David has become really active as of late! I cannot believe how much he moves sometimes. It's not uncommon to be sitting there and have him shaking my stomach around! One of these days I'll shoot a video. It's so funny that when Joe usually looks over when my stomach is shaking David will stop. I don't think Joe's ever really been able to see it! Thursday or Friday night Joe felt it move all around when we were lying in bed. David feels so big when he does that! It's crazy. I have a feeling he's going to be a biggen. :)
My Roommates. :)
Also I started a poll I would like it if you voted. Thanks!

I Love November!
So November is a big deal to me. On the 14th will be mine and Joe's 7 year anniversary of being together! I cannot believe it's really been that long! Also on the 24th is our 3 year wedding anniversary. And to finish it off the 25th is our 2 year anniversary of being sealed together. :) Also there is Thanksgiving which is also fun, but I have no idea what we are going to do since Joe didn't get time off work for us to travel to my brother Tyler's house to be with most of my family, so we'll be here. Our roommate will be out of town with his family, so we'll see if anyone doesn't have anywhere else to go. So I'm hoping to get away from a night or two for our anniversary just because we didn't get to do anything last year because we were broke and we had just moved here. I still have to figure out what to get Joe as a present. Any suggestions?

Update on life
Bellow: 30 weeks (after Wisconsin)
The formal pictures hit right in the middle. Haha!
Yesterday we officially moved out of our old apartment (yes the one with the fire in it) to a house with a roommate with 2 dogs! So far it's been a little crazy. We've been here 2 nights and tonight I'm going to be all alone with the dogs. Joe's working 13 hour shifts this week and the roommate (Jeff) is gone for 10 days doing military training. So it's pretty much me and the dogs which is alright, because they like being outside most of the day and then at night they kind of like to lie around and do nothing, but sleep which is nice for me because then they leave me alone for the night.
Wisconsin was a lot of fun we were there the 13th to the 23rd last month. I will post photos when I get a chance, now I must get back to unpacking. :)

Pregnancy Photos

So my friend Jay Fullmer did some pregnancy photos for us while we were in Wisconsin. It was a lot of fun. I kind of like the artsy ones, but my mom hated them. :( Just something about those kind of shots make her cringe. But oh well. I'm a little sad that I have some rather big bumps on my stomach (are they noticeable) because I keep getting pimples on my stomach and was popping them the day before because I didn't know I was getting my photos taken the day after. Oh well. I think I'm over reacting about them, but maybe I'm not. Can you see them though?
