Let me rephrase

Ok I was reading Kate's comment and yeah I have nothing against used clothes. I actually have a huge amount! Plus I know I'll be getting more once I get moved (because a lady from church is being so sweet and giving me a bunch of her old stuff), but what I am against is stained clothes. I just feel like they look dirty and just something about the idea of putting my little guy in something already stained I don't know. I'm probably just a little weird on that one. But that is how I feel, but at least there isn't to many of those and lots of cute stuff for baby David to wear. :) That's all. Ok. I'm done now. :)

New Stuff

So we have gotten a crazy amount of stuff this past week and some days in the time we've been home. My shower was good and got so many clothes!!! So I'm still sorting through all that stuff because some of it was used and not sure if I'm going to keep it all because of space and the fact that I'm not over thrilled with the fact of having so much used stuff if I'm not going to want to use it.
So with that said it bring me to question if it's really that bad to want new stuff? Like Joe's brother gave us a swing and jumper and I'm not sure if I'm overly thrilled with the idea of having used stuff. Like I know they mean well to give it to us, but is it wrong of me to want soemthing that I picked out and is new so my baby/kids are the only ones to use it? I also had a women offer me a crib that was used by her son at an awesome price, but I don't really want it. I want the crib that I had picked out even though it's $100 more than what the lady is asking. So I was thinking the 3 biggest things that I want new is a crib, swing, and my pack and play. And that's about it. So the only problem is that those 3 things alone take me around $450. Which I didn't get hardly any money at the shower which I was hoping for and who knows what the next shower will hold. But the bright side is that if I keep using my debit card a lot I get points that I can use toward baby r us gift cards. :) So we'll see what happens.

Glucose Test

So on Friday I did my glucose test. For those of you who haven't had a baby it's a test that is done to check for gestational diabetes. They give you this sugary drink which tasted like orange flat soda. It's like the size of those little soda bottles. I first tried to chug it and that did work when I started to gag on it, so then I just took my time. They give you 5 minutes to drink it so it's not that hard. So then I got to sit in a lab waiting room for an hour with 2 other pregnant women doing the same test and an old women who had her son with her. I have no idea why the older women was there, but she was doing some kind of 3 hour test poor lady. She was pretty sweet and her son was too. It was pretty boring. The glucose test made me tired and gave me a bad head ache. So it wasn't to bad. One of the pregnant women had her 18 month old son (who was so freaken cute) running around and playing with his cars. He kept offering me his crackers and to play cars with him. I couldn't eat the crackers because that's one of the things that goes along with the test. So the time was up and they drew my blood and now I'm just waiting to see if I passed or failed. If you fail you have to do the test again, but instead of it being an hour test it's 3! So let's just hope I passed.

My Belly Button

Ok I know this is weird, but I have for some reason become obsessed with my belly button. I think just because it's making so many changes. First it got huge, around twice it's size. Now it's starting to raise up at the bottom. You can see it pretty good in the bottom photo where it looks like a bubble in it. So I know it's weird, but I wanted to post this. Also, I think it's crazy that I'm getting that weird line that goes down the middle of the belly. I think it's weird because they always say people who have darker skin have it and I'm pretty paste.

Nice People

This is my baby's church outfit. My friend Nicole got it for me because we were at Dillards together and it was on clearance so she bought it. The only problem is I think it's 9 months size. So I'll have to hold on to it for a while. The bottoms are pants.
This stuff is from my neighbor Tuesday (her name not day). She and I got a nice chance to talk back when the fire happened since she lives just across the hall from us. She and her husband are pretty sweet. Joe helped the husband get his car out of snow in the parking lot a couple times when it was snowing last winter. But I see her and she asked if I was pregnant (we don't see them all the time) and I told her yes. She said she'd have to get me something and I thought nothing of it. Later that day she knocked on the door and gave me this in a nice gift bag. How sweet is that? People like that make me sad to move out of this place, but that's it. I'll have to do a thank you card and cookies before we move.

Maternity clothes

So I'm losing all the fun of maternity clothes! My over the stomach bands don't seem t want to stay up so I still have to use a belly bands that is supposed to be used to keep your pants up when they don't button anymore. So that's not cool. Plus I need to get longer tank tops because they are getting a lot shorter than my shirts so they make my shirt ride up. If my maternity shirts won't so low I wouldn't have to wear tank tops under them. So yeah it stinks! I'm just very uncomfortable with it today. Maybe it's because of the big trip coming up and don't want to be showing my stomach and back the whole time! Jeez!

Saying goodbye to good friends.

I think the last one makes me look big. Oh well. So this is Meagan and Sam Brejcha. Meagan was the first person to friend me after moving here. Her husband was deployed when I met her. We had some good late night times. I also got to help her pack up her apartment when she moved on base and got to also help her a little bit with packing for her move to Colorado Springs. I'm sad to see them go because they are both super fun and I enjoy their company so much! But on the bright side I'll see Meagan in November when she comes back to do my baby shower. :) Have a safe travel guys!
