Glucose Test

So on Friday I did my glucose test. For those of you who haven't had a baby it's a test that is done to check for gestational diabetes. They give you this sugary drink which tasted like orange flat soda. It's like the size of those little soda bottles. I first tried to chug it and that did work when I started to gag on it, so then I just took my time. They give you 5 minutes to drink it so it's not that hard. So then I got to sit in a lab waiting room for an hour with 2 other pregnant women doing the same test and an old women who had her son with her. I have no idea why the older women was there, but she was doing some kind of 3 hour test poor lady. She was pretty sweet and her son was too. It was pretty boring. The glucose test made me tired and gave me a bad head ache. So it wasn't to bad. One of the pregnant women had her 18 month old son (who was so freaken cute) running around and playing with his cars. He kept offering me his crackers and to play cars with him. I couldn't eat the crackers because that's one of the things that goes along with the test. So the time was up and they drew my blood and now I'm just waiting to see if I passed or failed. If you fail you have to do the test again, but instead of it being an hour test it's 3! So let's just hope I passed.
