22 week appointment

So at my doctor's appointment I was a little sad that I didn't get to see my real doctor yesterday. I saw a nurse practitioner who was in all nice, but I like to see my doctor. Oh well. I saw a nurse for my doctor after the appointment and Joe and I asked about travel. I guess I'm good to go till 30 weeks. So we have a little less than 8 weeks to figure out if we can figure out a trip to Wisconsin or not before that point. Also I guess I'm gaining a little to much weight so they told me to watch my carbs for a little bit. Which is so hard!!! When your eating dinner alone carbs are the easiest thing to eat whether spaghetti, Romain, or even just bread of some sort. Oh well I guess I'll have to figure something out.
But everything is looking good. I have another ultra sound on the 10th of this month so they can get a look at the 4 chamber heart because they didn't get a chance to look at it the first time because of the fact he was moving around so much. I was joking with Joe of what if we go and now they tell us it's a girl. Haha! I doubt it you've all seen the photos and it really looks like a boy! So I guess everything is going good, I just need more motivation and cooler weather because it's just to hot inside and out!!!!! to want to do anything. I wish I was in Wisconsin!

  1. They don't say "the bread of life" for nothing... Bread is a staple! Good luck cutting it back. I would just get out for a walk or something instead, even if that means at department stores. Ha ha ha. Oh, and don't be so upset about only seeing the nurse practitioner. I saw a different doctor every appointment, as well as NPs throughout my pregnancy... You're lucky you only have one doctor.

  2. Oh, and the travel thing will always be a guideline. A friend of mine, who is pregnant with twins, just moved to NC a month ago, when she was 8 months pregnant (she flew), and then she flew to Chicago for her sister's wedding. You do what you got to do sometimes, but being smart about it. Good luck figuring it out.
